The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Classes are typically held in January, February, and August. The IV Therapy Certification Assignment allows Dakota Nursing Program students to gain IV therapy certification if they: 1) are current LPNs in an ADN program, 2) have successfully completed the necessary IV Therapy skills labs and passed the appropriate intravenous therapy examination(s) in NURS 227, and 3) would like to utilize IV skills in the workplace sooner than the completion of their degree.November 17, 2025 to January 9, 2026, Blackboard
