Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. LPN IV Therapy Certification for DNP ADN Students

The IV Therapy Certification Assignment allows Dakota Nursing Program students to gain IV therapy certification if they: 1) are current LPNs in an ADN program, 2) have successfully completed the necessary IV Therapy skills labs and passed the appropriate intravenous therapy examination(s) in NURS 227, and 3) would like to utilize IV skills in the workplace sooner than the completion of their degree.

LPN IV Therapy Certification

Innovative 8-week online class includes 30 hours of online theory and one (1) required 4-hour face-to-face skills validation session. Designed for an LPN to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to perform selected components in the management of intravenous therapy. Cost includes lab supplies.
