The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Classes are typically held in January, February, and August. The LPN IV Therapy Assignment is a way Dakota Nursing Program students can gain IV therapy certification if they: 1) are current LPNs in an ADN program, 2) have successfully completed the necessary IV Therapy skills lab and passed the appropriate intravenous therapy theory examinations in NURS 227, and 3) would like to utilize IV skills in the workplace sooner than the completion of their degree.This course contains no sessions
