Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients who access the emergency medical services system. EMRs have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS resources to arrive.

This BLS skills test-out session is for individuals who 1) will be completing or have already completed the American Heart Association Heartcode BLS online course, AND 2) need to test out on the skills portion only in order to obtain a Basic Life Support certification card.
