Course Detail: HAIR-9093 - Precision Cutting: Clean Lines - Workshop for Hair Professionals

This continuing education course teaches hair professionals and cosmetologists how to create a precise, balanced one-length haircut while adapting the technique to different hair textures, densities, growth patterns, and client preferences.

Students will learn how to establish a strong perimeter, maintain consistent tension and elevation, create symmetry, and determine when subtle layering can be incorporated without destroying the integrity of the one-length shape.

The class also covers blow-drying and finishing techniques for straight and textured hair, including methods for creating smoothness, volume, definition, and movement. Students will learn how to educate clients on maintaining their haircut and style at home.

Class note:  Students must bring a freshly shampooed and conditioned manikin head or human model with clean, conditioned hair (10-12 inches in length). Please also bring cutting tools, blow dryer, flat iron, combs, brushes, and styling products of your choice. Upon successful completion, three (3) contact hours will be awarded to cosmetologists and hair professionals.
