Course Detail: SBMCCB - Small Business Management for Contractors

The Small Business Management (SBM) for Contractors course covers a wide range of business fundamentals for new CCB license holders or those with established contracting businesses who want to deepen or refresh their knowledge and skills.

In addition to coursework, the class structure is designed to help participants build important professional relationships with other business owners and the instructor. Participants also receive one-on-one business advising each month focused primarily on active monthly course work and applying that material to your business operations. Each business receives a personalized notebook, course outlines, and curriculum handouts. The course includes readings and minor homework between some class sessions.

  • Recordkeeping & Estimating
  • Payroll & Taxes
  • Contracts and Negotiation

  • Maintaining your CCB License
  • Marketing Intro for your Business

Continuing Education:

This course will provide 27 hours of continuing education credits toward requirements for Oregon CCB license holders.

Registration will open once new class dates have been established in 2024.

Course Fee:

Class fee TBD in 2024. This course is valued at over $3,000.
