Course Detail: WTMB100 - Basic Computer Skills I: Using the Computer and Internet

Course one of three in the Basic Computer Skills program. This 30-hour course meets twice a week for six weeks and can be taken individually or as part of the complete Basic Computer Skills program. Participants who complete all three courses in the program will be awarded a microcredential. As a result of this training, participants will be able to perform basic Windows operating system tasks, and use essential digital tools, including email, web browsers, Canvas, and Zoom.

Schedule: This class meets every Tuesday from 9:00am to 12:00pm and every Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am. The class runs from August 25, 2026 to October 1, 2026. The classroom is located at the Salt Lake Community College Miller campus, Miller Professional Development Center (MPDC) building, Room 118 (Miller-MPDC-118).
