Earners of the Chemistry Technician credential have completed the Laboratory Technician credential as well as curriculum in Intermediate Lab Techniques, Intro to Analytical Chemistry Techniques, Intro to QA/QC, Intro to Biochemistry and Cellular/Molecular Biology, and Intro to Microbiology. The credential prepares earners for entry- to intermediate-level careers in a lab, QA/QC, or production. Competency is assessed via a combination of written examinations and hands-on demonstration of skills.
