Course Detail: CHG1 - Introduction to Change Management
This three-day course is an introduction to change management, and it teaches how to apply strategies, principles, and best practices. Participants will learn how to navigate change in an organization effectively and understand the organization's needs and its impact on employees, processes, and business outcomes.
Key topics include: - Fundamentals of Change Management - Change Models (Lewin's 3-Step Change Model, ADKAR, Kotter's 8-StepChange Process) - Strategies for effective communication (town hall, email, newsletter) - Resistance to change and leveraging stakeholders - Measuring and sustaining change. - The importance of professional development. This course is ideal for managers, HR professionals, and anyone supporting organizational changes. By the end of this course, students will have an introduction and understanding of change management concepts and practical tools to implement change within their organization.
Course meets on three days: September 16 and 18 and October 2. A case study will be distributed on the second day (September 18) to be worked on independently. The third session on October 2, will focus on the case study and the participants' responses.
