Biography: Richard Mayfield, DC, CCN, DACBN, IFMCP received his doctorate in chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1981. He co-founded his first wellness center in 1982 and is currently integrating chiropractic methods and functional medicine at the Center for Well Being in Edina, Minnesota. Dr. Mayfield attended his first Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D. nutritional medicine course in 1977. He holds two board certifications as a clinical nutritionist. He is board-certified in functional medicine at the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Mayfield has been a post-graduate lecturer to physicians in clinical nutrition, phytochemical science, autism, and toxicology metabolism. Dr. Mayfield is a functional medicine consultant to physicians throughout the USA.

Biography: Elizabeth (Betsy) Board, MD is the founder of Atlanta Functional Medicine in Alpharetta, GA. She is trained and became board-certified in Anesthesiology, completing fellowships in Obstetric Anesthesia at Emory and Pain Medicine at Stanford University. After returning to Atlanta from a faculty position at Stanford, she practiced as a Board-Certified Pain Management Physician and developed an interest in alternative pain relief methods, including acupuncture and functional medicine. Dr. Board is the second physician to become certified in functional medicine in Georgia and is certified through the American Board of Holistic and Integrative Medicine. She serves the Institute for Functional Medicine as a mentor and facilitator for practitioners in training and was recently chosen to teach functional medicine approaches to chronic pain and PTSD to Armed Forces physicians. She is a contributing editor for "The Alternative Sourcebook: Kinds" and "The Alternative Sourcebook: Pain Relief", both published in 2015.

Biography: Dr. Oler received his Doctorate in Naturopathy from the University of Natural Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with a background in chemical engineering and biochemistry. He is the founder of the Natural Path Health Center, an integrated complementary health care facility that uses the scientific application of natural healing methods to help people achieve optimal health and performance.
In addition to clinical work with clients, Dr. Oler is a dynamic and informative speaker. He teaches extensively to medical professionals on ways to incorporate the scientific application of natural healing methods into their lives and practices. Dr. Oler has extensive experience researching and consulting on cardiovascular disease, chronic fatigue, amino acid therapy, nutrition and exercise. He helps clients identify and address key underlying imbalances that are preventing them from achieving their goals.
Dr. Oler is a very active person, enjoying triathlon, ice hockey, backpacking, hiking, adventure racing and volleyball. He lives in Madison, WI with his wife and two children.

Biography: Robert Silverman, DC, DACBN, DCBCN, MS, CCN, CNS, CSCS, CIISN, CKTP, CES, HKC, FAKTR is a chiropractic doctor, clinical nutritionist, national/international speaker, author of Amazon's #1 bestseller "Inside-Out Health", founder and CEO of Westchester Integrative Health Center. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and has a Master of Science in human nutrition. The ACA Sports Council named Dr Silverman "Sports Chiropractor of the Year" in 2015. He is on the advisory board for the Functional Medicine University and is a seasoned health and wellness expert on both the speaking circuits and the media. Dr. Silverman is a thought leader in his field and practice, a frequently published author in peer-reviewed journals and other mainstream publications.
Dr. Silverman was the principal investigator on two Level 1 laser FDA studies. His new book, Amazon's best seller, Immune Reboot, was released in December 2022.

Biography: Tolu Oyelowo, DC, is the diversity chair at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Oyelowo graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of science in chemistry and psychology, and from Northwestern College of Chiropractic as a doctor of chiropractic. She is a faculty member of the chiropractic college. She is devoted to the University's mission of creating an environment which fosters understanding and an appreciation for diverse opinions and ideas.

Biography: Dr. Rich received his DC degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic and then completed a three-year fulltime imaging residency. After passing the board-certification examinations, he accepted a position as an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Sciences Department at Northwestern. While at Northwestern, he lectured extensively for the imaging and continuing education departments, provided imaging consultation for the campus based film interpretation service, and treated patients in the University Health Service. In 1999 he was honored as Northwestern's Teacher-of-the-Year. In 2003 Dr. Rich accepted a position at National University of Health Sciences as the Director of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. He was also Faculty Director for the Imaging Residency Program and Director of the National MRI Center. Dr. Rich re-joined the faculty of NWHSU in September 2005. He enjoys his time lecturing and spending time "in the dark" interpreting imaging studies. In his free time he spends time with his wife and nine children and serving in the local church.
