Richard Mayfield, DC, CCN, DACBN, IFMCP received his doctorate in chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1981. He co-founded his first wellness center in 1982 and is currently

integrating chiropractic methods and functional medicine at the Center for Well Being in Edina, Minnesota. Dr. Mayfield attended his first Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D. nutritional medicine course in 1977. He holds two board certifications as a clinical nutritionist. He is board-certified in functional medicine at the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Mayfield has been a post-graduate lecturer to physicians in clinical nutrition, phytochemical science, autism, and toxicology metabolism. Dr. Mayfield is a functional medicine consultant to physicians throughout the USA.
