Course Detail: CNAF - Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training Program (Face-to-Face)
Each class allows time for intensive and individualized instruction from an experienced long-term care RN instructor. This training program is delivered in a 10-day face-to-face setting in which full attendance is required to successfully complete the program (see sample training program syllabus for a detailed schedule). Upon completion of the program, students will be scheduled to take the state certification exam consisting of both a written and skills test. After passing both portions of the state exam, the student earns the title "Certified Nurse Assistant".
Prerequisites: Please see the sample training program syllabus for important information regarding course prerequisites and other policies. Please note that the prerequisites are being waived due to the pandemic. TB testing will not be required at this time.
Participants will complete two (2) 8-hour clinical days as part of the training. Simulated clinical days are scheduled to occur the final two days of training, and are held from 8:00AM - 5:00PM at Lake Region State College.
Cost includes books, training materials, laboratory fees, instruction from an experienced Registered Nurse instructor, and your first attempt at the state CNA exam. Test date is to be determined.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation more than 5 days prior to start of training results in a 25% cancellation fee based on the class fee. Cancellation 5 days or less to the start of training results in no refund.
