Course Detail: WELL-9295 - Healing Burnout with Spirituality, Science & Self-Compassion

This three-hour workshop reframes burnout as a disconnect between body, mind, and spirit-not just stress. Through guided discussion and embodied practices, participants explore how nervous system imbalance, self-neglect, and emotional overload lead to exhaustion. Drawing from neuroscience, psychology, yoga, and Ayurveda, the class offers practical tools for balance, resilience, and lasting well-being.

Learning Objectives  

?Recognize the physiological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of burnout

? Understand how trauma and nervous system dysregulationcontribute to chronic stress

? Practice simple tools from Polyvagal Theory, EFT, andmindfulness for self-regulation

? Learn basic Ayurvedic and yogic principles for dailyself-care and energy renewal

? Develop a short personal plan for maintaining balance andpreventing burnout

Upon successful completion, three (3) contact hours will be awarded to nurses, counselors, social workers, physical therapists and PTAs, occupational therapists and COTAs, respiratory technicians and nursing home administrators.
