In this workshop, we'll explore ways to transform unconscious bias into explicit bias. Explicit biases are those we are consciously aware of, which enables us to proactively prevent inadvertently harming our colleagues. Our topics will cover creating an inclusive workplace that fosters appreciation among coworkers, navigating crucial conversations when micro-insults or micro-invalidations occur due to unconscious bias, and utilizing intervention strategies to address unconscious bias within an organization to advance DEI initiatives.
