Course Detail: WELL-9280 - Boundaries and Stress Reduction

In this workshop, you'll learn how setting healthy boundaries can protect your peace, reduce stress, and strengthen your relationships. We'll explore the connection between stress and boundary violations, the different types of boundaries (emotional, physical, time, and energy), and how to communicate your needs clearly-without guilt. Whether you're a chronic people-pleaser or simply stretched too thin, this workshop will equip you with practical tools to reclaim your time, energy, and emotional space.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Explain the impact of boundary violations on stress levels and overall well-being.
  • Identify the four main types of boundaries-emotional, physical, time, and energy-and recognize signs that these boundaries are being crossed.
  • Evaluate personal boundary-setting habits and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and practice strategies for communicating boundaries assertively and respectfully, without guilt or apology.
Class Note: Upon successful completion, two (2) contact hours will be awarded to nurses, counselors, nursing home administrators, occupational therapists, respiratory care practitioner, physical therapists and social workers.
