Course Detail: CEPD-CADCOL - CADC Test Preparation Course
CADC Test Preparation
This course is intended to prepare applicants for the CADC exam. It has been approved for (21) CEU's from the Illinois Certification Board and/or as a 2 hour credit course to GSU students.
This course provides review of the material covered in the CADC exam including the 7 identified domains and applying the knowledge in each domain to direct practice situations. The course is divided up into three full class days via zoom.
Day 1 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
o Domain One - Screening Assessment & Engagement
o Domain Two - Treatment Planning
o Domain Three - Case Management and Referral
o Domain Four - Ethical and Professional Responsibilities
Review through handout materials, power points and mock test questions
Day 2 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
o Domain Five - Client, Family and Community Education
o Domain Six - Documentation
o Domain Seven - Counseling
Day 3 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
o Test taking Skills
o Dealing with Test anxiety
o Additional testing Resources
o Practice tests
