Course Detail: VVNR - From Victimized to Victorious: Navigating Recovery from Trauma
Neuroscience tells us our brains are hardwired to recognized the negativity in our lives. When shifting focus from victimized to victorious, one way to create and maintain positive mental health is by recognizing this fact and making a conscious effort to be aware of the positive things in life that can balance out the negativity. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn that the key to shifting focus from negativity is first to know there is equal positivity associated with negativity and then search for that positivity. Participants will learn and practice strategies that will be useful professionally but can also be generalized for personal growth and development.
