T&L 2900: VIR: Common Core Standards for English Language Arts K-5 (Instructor-Moderated)

Discover the Common Core State (CCSS) Standards for English language arts, and gain confidence in applying them to the K-5 classroom. In this course you'll explore the basic elements of the standards--strands, anchor standards, and grade articulations--and you'll see how they relate to each other. You'll be empowered to speak knowledgeably with parents, peers, and the community. And, most importantly, you'll learn how to prepare even the youngest students for eventual college and career.
