Course Detail: MEDICARE101 - Medicare 101

In this class, students will learn about the four parts of Medicare-Parts A, B, C, and D-including enrollment timelines, eligibility, and Medicare policies. An in-depth overview of Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans will help participants understand the differences between their coverage options. General questions about the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), including what changes can be made during this time, will also be addressed. Students will leave the class with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about the type of Medicare coverage that best fits their own or a family member's needs. This class is for educational purposes only. No Medicare plans will be marketed, sold, or enrolled in during the class.
