Course Detail: CCBSBDC - Construction Contractors Training & Exam

This course is a 2-day, all-day session, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM both days. The CCB Pre-licensing Training & Exam course provides the minimum 16 hours of education/training required by the CCB for license application. This course also includes the CCB examination which covers the content in the NASCLA Contractors Guide to Business, Law and Project Management, 2nd edition. The Training and Exam includes 4 Lessons and 4 exam sections covering all 14 chapters.
  • Lesson 1- OR Construction Employees, Subcontractors, and Law
  • Lesson 2- OR Code, Safety, Environmental Issues, and Building Envelope/Shell
  • Lesson 3- Bids & Estimates, Contracts, Project Management, and Lien Law
  • Lesson 4- Business Structures, Business Finance, and Business Taxes 
Students must pass each exam section with a 7.0 / 70% score or higher. Once students pass, they will be provided written certification and assisted with making license application to the CCB. (State of Oregon CCB License fee is not included with course.)

This course is presented live online via ZOOM in the Umpqua Business Center Conference Room. Each participant will be set up with a laptop and an SBDC Instructor is present during the entire session each day. Free business advising is available following completion of the course.
