UCC is offering a comprehensive 11 week course to prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and take the the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) ExCPT exam. An opportunity to sit for the certification exam is included in this fee. The course includes pharmacy specific medical terminology, laws, regulations and controlled substances; medical classifications, prescription and medication order intake and entry, preparing and dispensing prescriptions, calculations, sterile and nonsterile products, compounding, unit dose, and medical safety and quality assurance.
