Teaching is Jan's passion and her quiet, loving, healing presence provides a safe space for this exploration and learning. Jan worked for many years at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN as nurse clinician, educator and manager. 

For over 30 years she has maintained a private practice in holistic bodywork and energy healing and has volunteered doing energy healing work at a local health care facility. 

Jan is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor, a charter member of Healing Touch International, has a certificate in Holistic Therapies from St Catherine University, has been Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a pioneering Instructor in the Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry Program.
