Biography: Shelli Trevino has been a local Spanish and English teacher for 28 years. Although she is currently the EL Interventionist at Peotone High School, she has taught at almost every school in the county at all levels from Junior High to college. She received her BA in English and Spanish education and her MAE in Curriculum and Instruction both from Olivet Nazarene University. She learned Spanish as an exchange student in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She is the mother of two and grandmother of one and loves the Spanish language. She has taken multiple groups to both Europe and Mexico. |

Basic Spanish Conversation

Intermediate Spanish Conversation
In this course, we will dedicate a week to preparing for a "trip abroad" that will take us through five major cities in Spain and two in Mexico. You will learn about various places to visit, local foods to try, items to purchase, and much more! We will start with a review of basic Spanish vocabulary, then progress to more complex grammar structures and cultural topics.
