This course is held at KCC's Riverfront Campus.
If you miss your scheduled course, or inadvertently enroll in the wrong course, you must pay $40 and re-enroll in a new course. NO EXCEPTIONS.
This defensive driving course focuses on the importance of attitude in accident prevention and good driving skills. In four hours, the course covers practical strategies to reduce collision-related injuries, fatalities and related costs. Most importantly, this course highlights the consequence of poor choices made behind the wheel. The Driver Improvement Program is an ideal refresher course for experienced drivers.

** Prior to registering for Driver Improvement Program course, you MUST have submitted your PLEA of Guilty/Application for Court Supervision form to the county courthouse where you received your ticket - either Kankakee or Iroquois.
