Course Detail: NCRD-9103 - Introduction to Bees & Beekeeping

Considering beekeeping, but you want to learn more before you invest? 
Did you just buy your bees and equipment? 
Do you have experience in beekeeping, but you are not confident in what you need to do? 

If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, then this class is for you! This class will focus on the principles of beekeeping. Learn the history of beekeeping, honeybee biology, plant and pollinator relationships, and essential equipment and requirements. By the end of this class, you will be ready to work your own colony the first year and be able to help experienced beekeepers with their hives.
