The course focuses on practical, everyday vocabulary and expressions that can be used in common situations. Students will learn to understand and speak simple sentences, engage in basic conversations, and gain confidence using the language. Participants will also be introduced to Chinese characters and learn how to read and write simple words and sentences. 

In addition to language instruction, the course explores Chinese history, customs, and cultural traditions, providing a deeper understanding of one of the world's oldest and most influential civilizations. By the end of the course, students will be able to communicate at a basic level, recognize and write simple Chinese characters, and even order food from a Chinese restaurant with confidence.
