Course Detail: PER161 - Bridge: Intermediate

Sharpen your Bridge skills and learn new concepts in bidding, declarer play and defense to improve your game.
You'll gain important tools for better suit and no-trump bidding, competitive bidding, use of takeout doubles, preemptive bids, Two-Club openers, cue bids, and more. The class will also focus on specific ways to improve your play of the hand and defense.

Instructor Judith Nelsen is a retired professor from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has played bridge since she was 12 years old. After playing many years of duplicate bridge in Chicago, she moved to Fort Wayne in 2002 and continued playing at the Fort Wayne Duplicate Bridge Club. She is an American Contract Bridge League Life Master having acquired almost 2,500 Master Points.

Biography: Judy is a retired professor who played duplicate bridge for many years in Chicago and, for the last 15 years, at the Fort Wayne Duplicate Bridge Club. An American Contract Bridge League Life Master with almost 2,500 masterpoints, Judy has previously taught IPFW's beginning bridge class and is looking forward to teaching the intermediate one.
