Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience.
The Advanced Paralegal Study courses are offered in addition to the Paralegal Certificate course providing students more in-depth coverage of specific topics of law.
These advanced paralegal topics provide comprehensive training and will enhance your legal knowledge and skills. The Advanced Paralegal Certificate Program is offered in conjunction with IPFW Continuing Studies and the Center for Legal Studies. Up to three Advanced Paralegal Course topics may be taken during one 7-week online session and Advanced Paralegal Course topics do not have to be taken in any particular order. Online participants should expect to spend at least 45-50 hours reading and preparing assignments and tests for each course.

Who Should Attend?
Individuals seeking advanced paralegal training.
You may take as few as one or all of the courses. To earn the Advanced Paralegal Study Certificate, you must complete six of the nine courses listed below. Each course is seven weeks in duration. You may take a maximum of three courses each seven-week period. Fourteen weeks are required to earn a certificate.
