Leslie Rogers
Biography: Leslie Rogers is an interdisciplinary artist and a Professor of the Practice in Sculpture & Fibers at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Her background is in puppetry and quilting, with degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, The Maryland Institute College of Art, and a three-year postdoctoral research fellowship with the Michigan Society of Fellows at the University of Michigan.Rogers has shown at venues such as The Hammer Museum in LA, Three Walls in Chicago, The Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh, The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia. In Philadelphia, she was a member of Little Berlin gallery, Puppet Uprising, and PuppeTyranny performance collective.
