Biography: Josh Mulligan has taught animation and drawing workshops at the College for Creative Studies since 2015 and is currently instructing drawing courses within the undergraduate Foundation Department at CCS.Drawing has always been a passion of mine, and having the opportunity to share, explore, and create ideas is always a motivating experience. I primarily focus on creating animations and illustrations both digitally and traditionally. I am a 2014 CCS graduate.

FOUNDATIONS - DRAWING II: STYLE AND SKILL
Students expand their understanding of the fundamentals of drawing and sketching, and develop theirown personal sense of style and enhanced skill. A variety of drawing techniques are explored with afocus on creative composition, design and visual narrative. Additionally, the human figure will beexplored as a basis of understanding gesture, proportion, geometric forms in space and the definitionof complex surfaces.

MORNING:DRAWING FIGURES AND ENVIRONMENTS FROM YOUR IMAGINATION
Learn techniques to draw the human figure from your imagination without the benefit of a live model or manikin. This workshop will introduce essential drawing skills that can be shared in secondary art classrooms.
