T&L 2900: Disciplinary Literacy 201

This independent study course builds on the foundational understandings developed in Disciplinary Literacy 101. Participants will deepen their application of disciplinary literacy by designing and implementing a comprehensive unit that integrates reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking into daily instruction. Educators will collaborate with a literacy coach throughout the process to receive feedback and support as they plan, implement, and reflect on their work. Participants must document at least 15 hours of professional learning, including unit planning, coaching collaboration, implementation, and reflection.
