T&L 2900: PLC Modules: Driving Student Success
The purpose of this credit is to recognize and support teachers' professional growth through intentional engagement in our building goals and Professional Learning Community (PLC) work. By participating, teachers will deepen their collaborative practices, strengthen instructional strategies aligned to our instructional framework, and monitor student progress with a focus on equity and high levels of learning for all. This credit reflects our commitment to continuous improvement, collective efficacy, and celebrating the impact of our work on student success.
This learning opportunity will guide teachers through our building PLC resource, The PLC+ Playbook, as they gain a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between our building goals, instructional framework, and content PLCs.
Using their PLC+ Playbook, teachers will be analyzing standards, reflecting on crosscutting values (equity and collective efficacy), analyzing and reflecting on student data, misconceptions, and teaching practices.
Our April staff meeting will include a celebration from all teachers engaging in the credit pieces that highlights changes in student learning as well as teaching practices.
