Herbert Dow may be most well-known for starting the Dow Chemical Company, but he and his family have a much greater story to share. Learn how Herbert and Grace came to make a home in Midland, worked to improve the lives of the city's residents and left a legacy in the city, and throughout the state that can be felt today! Samantha Engel, historian for The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation, will share stories, documents and artifacts from the family archives that help tell their story. The final class session will be a tour of the The Pines, the Dow home located at Dow Gardens in Midland.
