International Tourism Certificate Course

The International Tourism certificate program at Saginaw Valley State University aims to teach managerial skills within the tourism industry. This course will offer an introduction to the world's largest industry, ranging from important definitions to applied skills and a concrete understanding of tourism as a lifestyle. Tourism leaders can positively impact their industry by using their newly acquired skills to make strategic management decisions, assess the impact of policy on tourism, communicate professionally, improve efficiency and effectiveness in managerial and operational methods, and lastly examine the future of the tourism industry.

The only approved Certified Public Manager� Program in the State of Michigan with the National Certified Public Manager� Consortium.The program consists of nine (9) curriculum competencies covered in a 10-month period that is delivered through a convenient hybrid course format.
