OLLI at SVSU is pleased to join fellow OLLI programs across Michigan in partnership with the State Bar of Michigan Judicial Section and the Michigan Center for Civic Education (MCCE) to offer a two-part educational series exploring Michigan's judicial systems. This fall, join us via Zoom for the first session as we examine the structure, roles, and jurisdictions of Michigan's district, circuit, probate, and federal courts. The program will feature a 60-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session, offering participants an opportunity to gain valuable insight into how our court systems operate and serve citizens throughout the state. Participants may join the program from home via Zoom or attend in a classroom where we can participate together as a group. This option is ideal for those who prefer an in-person setting or those who do not have the technology.
