Course Detail: 340BAYCITYHALL - 340 An OLLI Inside Look: Bay City Hall and Historical Museum of Bay City

Bay City's historic City Hall, built in 1897, is an excellent example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. The main entrance opens to a marble staircase and a three-story atrium with ornate forge metal railings. The guided tour includes the Clock Tower, which offers spectacular city views. The Bay county Historical Society is housed in the former National Guard Armory, constructed in 1910. Special instructions: meet in foyer of Bay City Hall. Elevators available. Wheelchair ramp, ADA compliant and spiral steps to the clock tower without access to elevator.
