Course Detail: WTNT001 - Utah Notary Training Workshop

The Utah Notary Public Training Workshop prepares participants to serve effectively as notary publics. Participants learn the role of a notary in witnessing and authenticating the signing of important documents and transactions. The course also provides guidance on the application process, including registering for Utah's required online exam, obtaining a bond, and acquiring a notary stamp.

The Utah Notary Public Training Workshop is a one-time, 5-hour workshop designed to prepare students to take the Utah State Notary Public online exam. There are no follow-up workshops and SLCC does not administer the exam.

The course is taught LIVE at the SLCC Miller Campus, 9750 S 300 W, Sandy, Ut 84070, building and classroom TBD. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SET UP a Canvas account! Students will receive a reminder email the week of the workshop with the correct building and room number. Course materials are provided at the workshop. Please bring a pen or pencil. There is one 15-minute break with no lunch break. Please bring a lunch if you need to. The course prepares students to register for and successfully complete the Utah Notary Public exam after taking this course. SLCC does not administer the exam.
