This 11-hour course meets for two consecutive days. As a result of this training participants will be able to detect and correct pool problems including contamination, filtration, disinfection, water balance and heating or air conditioning problems; calculate the amount of chemicals needed to adjust pool contamination or imbalance; complete the CPO exam.

This course introduces the U.S. regulations that impact medical device development and manufacturing. This course includes a thorough examination of regulations governing the life science industry with emphasis on those regulations that impact medical device development and manufacturing.

This course provides an overview of the medical device industry, particularly in Utah. It will address topics including diversity of products, size and scope of the industry, current trends, and the product life cycle from conception to market approval and distribution.

This 21-hour course introduces participants to the quality systems that govern the life science industry with emphasis on the system that specifically impacts medical device development and manufacturing. Mastery of these core skills is key to successful careers in the medical device and bioscience industry. This 100% online course is instructor-moderated using Canvas. There are no meeting days or times. Participants can access their coursework 24/7 once the course is active. The instructor will outline the expectations and course deadlines in a message within Canvas on the first night of class. Participants receive a microcredential for 21 training hours at the successful completion of the course.
