This 24-hour course meets over three consecutive days. As a result of this course, students will be able to describe basic workplace safety including Personal Protective Equipment, equipment safety, and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO); calculate basic math required for Thermoforming Technicians; interpret technical documents such as blueprints and Bill of Materials (BOM) to layout and assemble mixed material parts; use pneumatic routers and drills with various bits to trim thermoformed parts; and demonstrate correct use of hand tools.
