Course Detail: WTGN111 - Genealogy and Family History Writing

This 45-hour course meets online for 5.6 hours per week over an eight-week period. As a result of this course students will be able to apply advanced methods of critical thinking in reading and writing by demonstrating the skill of paraphrasing and summarizing information; demonstrate the use of sound evidence and appropriate and acceptable sources for scholarly genealogical research and writing; develop writing that objectively presents information, forms conclusions from that information, applies documentation/citation formats and supports those conclusions with evidence, analysis, and reasoning.
