Course Detail: WTGN011 - U.S. Genealogy Research II

This 45-hour course, is taught online for 5.6 hours over 8 weeks. As a result of this course students will be able to identify how and why specific probate, genealogical/historical periodicals, land, military, naturalization, and cemetery records were created and their value for genealogists; evaluate, prioritize, and transcribe pre-1850 records according to approved genealogical practice; and produce a client report that defends conclusions and suggests next steps.
