Course Detail: HEACE - Heavy-Equipment - Advanced Construction Excavation

This high-tech, equipment-specific course utilizes hybrid training for students to learn the essential skills needed to safely and effectively operate a medium-sized tracked CaterpillerŪ Hydraulic Excavator. Students go from zero-to ready with a combination of hands-on training in CaterpillarŪ Simulators and self-paced online curriculum. Operational techniques and training exercises for this machinery include:

  • Machine Dynamics & Maneuvering
  • Hoisting Objects, Trenching & Pipe installation
  • Clearing Debris, Digging Footings & Bench Loading
  • Practice Sessions in Simulator & Virtual Environment
  • Competency Quizzes & Skill Tests
