Short Course Options 
Pinellas Technical College provides a variety of short courses that facilitate individuals, groups and institutions in meeting their near-term career, educational, and personal goals. Separate from PTC's standard stable of accredited, full-time programs, these specialized courses also present learners with exposure to meaningful content and professional training. Registration and fees are managed online. Continuing Workforce Education
Pinellas Technical College instructors have developed and deliver a functional collection of high-quality courses that provide a portion of an overall state-approved curriculum in a shortened timeline. Note that, due to their abbreviated nature, these courses do not articulate, or grant credit, toward Pinellas Technical College's program level courses.

Licensing & Certifications
Workforce credentialing courses, whether new or for renewal, definitively help maintain an individual's competitive edge in the occupational marketplace. The field and trade-specific certification courses offered target the topics that are needed now? that boost employee value, and/or are established as essential employment requirements.

Life Enrichment
This diverse set of courses present unique training opportunities for the public to delve into and explore. The available topics vary depending on interest trends and consumer demand and may include fundamental career skills, hobby-to-business courses, learning camps, etc.   

Business & Industry Services
This specialized division (of the Office of Workforce Innovation) is Pinellas Technical College's means for offering effective, customized training solutions for local business and industry. These highly-technical courses typically serve the specialized areas of medical, automotive, electronics, construction, manufacturing, and information technology. As well, a wide range of business and targeted application courses are available. Additionally, new courses and training programs can be developed to meet very specific customer goals. To ensure success, each phase of the training process is managed by one of our education professionals (known as Occupational Specialists). As a bonus, when location flexibility is required, live training may be delivered either at the industry site or at one of the Pinellas Technical College campuses.

Refunds
Please note, cancellations must be made within 5 business days from the day an order is placed to qualify for a refund. All refunds will be issued less a $10.50 service fee. All refunds will be issued in the form of a check, and not electronically returned to any credit/debit/gift card. Please allow 45 days for refund requests to be processed.

Transactions
This platform accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards. The maximum threshold for a single transaction is $3,000. If you are placing multiple orders in excess of that value, please separate your transaction into smaller orders to avoid transaction failures.

IRS and Tax Documents
The majority of courses offered by the Office of Workforce Innovation are beneficial for continued education and life enrichment, but do not conclude with college credit, academic credit, or grades. For courses for which no academic credit is offered, Pinellas Technical College and/or the Office of Workforce Innovation does not issue a 1098t. Please reference irs.gov for additional questions or concerns regarding this exception.
