DDLSMN - Lumbar Spine Syndrome MN

Join us for this 20 hour Webinar (optional 2 ACU hours) exploring the causes of Lumbar Spine Syndrome. Some of the areas you will explore include Fallen Arches and TMJ causing spinal pain, Lumbar Spine Strain/Sprain, Low Back Injuries from Auto Collisions, Lumbar Disc Herniation, Compression of the Nerve. Additional areas include Degeneration of the Lumbar spine, Stenosis, Spondylolysis, Post Trauma Spondylolithesis, SI Joint Pain, Internal Disorders referring pain to the thoracic and/or the lumbar area, and more. Current studies included in a comprehensive handout.

Objectives: What is causing the lumbar area symptoms? This assessment is needed to arrive at a correct differential diagnosis. What is causing the thoracic and/or low back symptoms in the clinical picture in this patient? Is this a condition the chiropractor can treat or should it be referred? This class will help with the evaluation of the patient, taking the information and developing a differential diagnosis, and setting up a Care Plan that is evidence based.

Daniel Dock

Biography:

Dr. Daniel Dock is Board-Certified with a Diplomate from the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He is an educator with experience in clinical practice, including offering second opinions to other Doctors of Chiropractic in difficult cases, being an expert witness in numerous cases of malpractice, and teaching continuing education since 1989. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1982.

He always appreciates feedback from the doctors on how the classes he teaches have helped them with the diagnosis and treatment of difficult cases. He has authored multiple books and articles on the various aspects of clinical practice. He is actively involved in the community in serving homeless and underserved youth.

Dr. Dock has served as an Examiner and served for two years on the Peer Review Committee for the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

He was awarded the President's Award by the Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA) for exemplary service above and beyond the call and the Distinguished Service Award for 25 years of outstanding service and dedication. He was awarded the MCPAC Distinguished Service Award by the MCA in grateful appreciation of his tireless efforts to support their legislative endeavors. The Washington State Chiropractic Association awarded Dr. Dock their Volunteer of the Year Award. The Georgia Chiropractic Association awarded him Honorary Lifetime Membership.
