Instructor: Margi Hadorn

Margi Hadorn
Biography: Margi Hadorn has been a massage therapist for more than 30 years and has worked as a prenatal massage therapist for 21 years.

In 2000, she had the privilege of becoming certified in Pre & Perinatal Massage Therapy with Carole Osborne. Since that time she has nurtured pregnant women, mom's and babies with massage and infant massage instruction. She worked as an assistant for Pre & Perinatal Massage Therapy training courses. She benefitted tremendously from Carole's direction and knowledge of pregnancy, prenatal massage, labor and delivery.

She completed the teacher training course for Pre & Perinatal massage. She plans to continue this work in the massage room, and the classroom, to improve awareness of the positive impact this knowledge can have on mom's, babies, families and communities.

Her Pre & Perinatal massage education was augmented by the opportunity to serve as a research assistant for the 3rd edition of Pre and Perinatal Massage Therapy, a Comprehensive Guide to Prenatal, Labor and Postpartum Practice by Carole Osborne, Michele Kolakowski, and David M. Lobenstine. She also worked with Pam Guldi in conjunction with Carole Osborne to develop and adapt The Advantages of Side-lying Positioning - Introduction as an online course.

Her training in prenatal massage is accompanied by certification as an Educator of Infant Massage, and Oncology and Hospice massage training. She received a massage therapy certification from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, Worcester, MA in 1989.  She is a professional member of the AMTA, and licensed in Massachusetts, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Lyndon State College in Vermont.

When she's not working, spending time with her husband and four daughters is her favorite thing to do.  She also enjoys hiking and exploring new places.
