Cynthia Miller
Biography: Cynthia Miller has been practicing Chinese Medicine since 1997. She holds a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and is a graduate of the Minnesota Center for Shiatsu Studies. She is NCCAOM certified in Oriental Medicine. Cynthia has been a registered nurse for more than 30 years and has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, home infusion, hospice, and oncology clinical trials. Cynthia joined the Penny George Institute for Health & Healing integrative medicine program in 2005. Her areas of interest include community-style acupuncture, supportive care for people living with cancer, research, and education. She helped to create the inpatient group acupuncture program in the Joint Replacement Center (JRC) at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Cynthia also provides acupuncture for outpatients at the Piper Breast Center at Abbott Northwestern.
