Founder and chairman of Activator MethodsInternational, Dr. Fuhr is the co-inventor of the Activator AdjustingInstrument and the Activator Method Chiropractic Technique.

Throughout his career, Dr. Fuhr has wonnumerous professional awards and taught at schools and conferences around theworld. Most notably, he is part of an esteemed group of healthcare and businessprofessionals noted for their outstanding contributions to the internationaladvancement of chiropractic. In 2000, he became a select member of theInternational Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine. He has been recognizedby the World Federation of Chiropractic with its prestigious Honor Award and,in 2012, was selected as the World Health Organization's delegate representingthe World Federation of Chiropractic.

Activator has been the subject of more than150 peer-reviewed papers and 26 clinical trials. Dr. Fuhr holds 13 domesticpatents, 47 worldwide trademarks and more than 100 copyrighted works. In 2008,he published the second edition of the technique textbook, The ActivatorMethod, globally acknowledged as the standard reference for instrumentadjusting.

A native of Minnesota, Dr. Fuhr received hischiropractic training at Logan University. He is married to Activator CEO Judi Fuhr and resides in Chandler,Arizona.
