In this class we will evaluate causes of legcomplaints. Is it a lumbar discherniation causing neurologic symptoms? Or, is it a cervical disc herniation compressing the cervical spinalcord? Perhaps, the leg complaints arevascular in origin. Or, the leg pain maybe due to a hip condition, or a knee condition. Are the leg complaints due to fallen arches? Objectives:
What is causing thepatient's leg symptoms? This assessment is needed to arrive at a correctdiagnosis. What is the differential diagnosis and the actual cause of the legsymptoms. Is this a condition thechiropractor can treat or should it be referred? This class will help with the evaluation ofthe patient, taking the information and developing a differential diagnosis,and setting up a Care Plan. Are the legsymptoms from brain or spine or are the leg symptoms from a leg condition. Thecorrect diagnosis is needed to arrive at the correct Treatment Plan.
