Ancestors Search is open to any ALL member interested in exploring and documenting their family history. The group, designed for both novice and experienced genealogists, will provide opportunities to learn about such genealogy topics as building a family tree, researching primary records, navigating major genealogy websites, organizing notes and digital files, and documenting sources. In addition, the program will include a collaborative support component, so participants can share discoveries, discuss challenges, exchange strategies, and problem-solve together. Participants are encouraged to bring any information and records they have in order to begin, add to, and/or research further their family genealogy.

Around Town travels locally to learn about businesses, non-profit or government units, and nearby historical buildings or events. Participants arrange their own travel to meet at pre-arranged sites for tours, entertainment, and information from experts on the subject. Book Lovers brings together those who share a love of reading. Different genres are read, lively discussions and opinions are shared in a respectful space. Scribes is where stories are told. Written in prose or poetry or expressed in the spoken word, this special interest group focuses on storytelling in a variety of ways, including fiction, non-fiction, personal essays and poetry. Some orally share short pieces - 1-2 pages or about 5 minutes based on an optional prompt or the storyteller's own project. Experience writing in a very supportive atmosphere, or attend as an audience of members who come to listen. view each session for details.
