Course Detail: LLL-350 - History Hunters: The Shelton Gang & Kings Daughters
The Sheltons were called "America's Bloodiest Gang" by the Saturday Evening Post in 1950. They reigned mostly in southern Illinois from the Roaring '20s through the 1940s. Taylor Pensoneau will return to ALL with stories of the Shelton gang's exploits and copies of his book for sale. On a lighter note and as a finale to the 2024-25 History Hunters program, Sally Cadagin will give a short talk on the Carrie Post King's Daughters Home for Women and the King's Daughters Organization (postponed from an earlier date). A surprise will follow the program. This event is for Academy of Lifelong Learning members.
