Nate Bottoms heads the city's engineering division and oversees its capital improvement projects, the most significant of which is the $500 million Springfield railroad improvement program. He will discuss his role with the city with a focus on capital improvements - where we've been, where we are, and where we're headed. Bottoms is a graduate of Lanphier High School and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and has a master's degree of business administration in engineering from Benedictine University. Nate began his career with the city of Springfield in 2012 and previously served as director of public works.
