Students who successfully pass both the State CNA Registry written and skills exams will be placed on the Iowa Direct Care Registry making them eligible to work as a CNA in a long term care center. Any individual may challenge the CNA exams. IHCC offers the CNA Skills Registry Examinations on Fridays, typically once per month. All students must be preregistered and prepaid, no walk-ins will be allowed for the exam.
